ImageMagick
Resize, compress and convert images with a single command.
// WHAT IT'S FOR
ImageMagick is free, open source and runs in the terminal on Windows, Mac and Linux. One command changes an image's size, format or quality, and since it's all commands, you can apply the same change to many images at once. It reads and writes more than 200 formats, including JPEG, PNG, GIF and TIFF. Use it to get your catalog or website photos ready without opening them one by one.
