Makes a scanned PDF searchable, so you can find and copy its text.

OCRmyPDF is open source and runs in the terminal. You give it a scanned PDF and it hands back the same file with the recognized text placed under the image, so you can search for words and copy them. Use it for contracts, invoices or records that reached you as scans. It reads more than 100 languages, though some are installed separately.
