whisper-ctranslate2 is an open-source terminal version of Whisper that its authors say runs up to four times faster at the same accuracy. You install it with pip and use the same commands as the original Whisper. It can also tell speakers apart and transcribe live from the microphone. Use it to transcribe many hours of audio on your own computer.
